Unfortunately I don't have any new news, but I felt like I should write something anyway. I guess the whole heart of a log is to record all events no matter how mundane. And so for the record, all I have to say is the last month has been relatively quiet in regards to the exchange. I am told that it will take anywhere from 2 to up to 4(!) months to get a reply; so right now it's about playing the waiting game.
I have been incredibly busy at uni and it's helped a lot to pass the time. I've been very studious and have made good use of my time - much more than I ever have before - but yet I'm finding that I'm still drowning in the pile of things-to-do.
However I am really glad that I've been studying Japanese again. It takes a lot of my time, but it's nice having it back in my life again. 幸せですよ
